Let’s Help Set Up Your Trucking Company

As specialists in the Trucking insurance industry, Stuttgart Insurance Solutions goes the extra mile, providing clients with value-added services. Included in our services is helping California firms set up their companies.

We’ll help you with filing your company whether you’re an LLC, C Corp, or S Corp. This includes filing your corporation, Statement of Insurance, EIN (Tax ID), and DUNS number.

We’ll Take Care of Your Permits, Too

You require various permits and licenses to legally operate your trucking business and transport goods within and across different jurisdictions. The specific permits needed can vary depending on the nature of the trucking operation, the types of cargo being transported, and the regions in which the company operates. We can assist you whether you’re a startup or renewing/updating your permits.

MC Number

Issued by the FMCSA, required for all interstate motor carriers to operate in interstate commerce.

BOC3

Mandated by the FMCSA, it’s a legal requirement to designate a process agent in each state where a motor carrier operates. The process agent acts as a legal representative for the motor carrier and accepts legal documents and court notices on their behalf in that state.

UCR

Administered by the UCR Board and is designed to ensure motor carriers pay annual registration fees based on the size of their fleet.

CA#

Issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for motor carriers engaged in transporting property, whether intrastate (within California) or interstate (across state lines).

Clearinghouse Registration

A mandatory requirement for trucking firms and other employers in the transportation industry to register with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that tracks and records drug and alcohol testing violations for commercial driver’s license (CDL) holders.
